Impassioned letter from Kercher's Father as Knox Appeal begins

Thus far,  there has been talk of how the defense was not given access to all the evidence which Prosecutor Mignini had full power and scope with during the actual murder trial,  of which the conviction is now being appealed.


  Whether this will lead to some revelations of import remain to be seen. 


'To many, Knox seems an unlikely killer. Yet to my family she is,  unequivocally, culpable'~ Meredith Kercher's father 



Meredith Kercher's father has made an impassioned speech about his daughter,  truly haunting in its description of her books,  makeup , and posters in her room,  awaiting her return,  here.  Kercher remains convinced of Knox and Solecitto's guilt.

Analysis: Will Amanda's Conviction be Overturned?

Now, her defense team has assembled a sharp appeal that could retry the case from top to bottom. The hotels are filling up fast and the TV trucks are already staking their claims beside the colorful holiday merry-go-round on the Piazza Matteotti in front of the medieval courthouse in Perugia, Italy. There is a notable buzz on the second floor of the courthouse as clerks busily prepare accreditation badges for the 140 journalists from all over the world who have applied for access to cover the appellate trial of Amanda Knox. The circus is back in town.
