Herbs That Make You Healthy

Did I mentioned that I was sick last few days ago? And guess that my body is too 'heaty' inside. So I went to Koh Woong Toh Sdn. Bhd for the popular "Herbal Jelly". Herbal Jelly or "Gui Lin Gao" is a chinese traditional food whereby it helps to release our body heat. This traditional food has been inherited generations by generations long time ago. And indeed it is still a popular food until today.

"Herbal Jelly" and the "5 Herbs Herbal Tea"
After consuming the "Herbal Jelly", my body felt so much refreshed and yet I feel healthy too. You too can try it out. The taste is very sweet and very chilling inside your mouth. It is serve when it is cold.

Look tasty isn't it? Well, in fact it is very healthy and affordable too. "Healthy Jelly" or "Gui Lin Gao" only cost me around RM8 for a small bowl. (which is quite big for me)

After consuming it, I felt much better and guess that my body isn't as "heaty" as before. It really works on me and I bet it works for everybody too! So, why not go and try it out yourself?

The Final Countdown

As examination day draws near, everybody is busy preparing for the final exam. It is the moment we all are getting nervous and stress at the same time. But why do we waste our time focusing on what made us worry instead of getting prepared for the battle?

EXAMZ

This is some tips for the preparation of the final battle.

Creating An Optimal Learning Environment.

To study effectively, it's very important for all of us to first create an optimal learning environment. We all should choose to study consistently at one place so our mind gets into the habit of working whenever we are there. Our study place should have following characteristics:

Let There Be Light
The environment is most conducive to learning is one that is brightly lit, preferably with yellow light. This is because fluorescent (white) light is too glaring that it may lead to headaches.

Check The Temperature
A temperature which is too high will tend to make us feel drowsy or sleepy. Try, as far as possible, to study in a place which is a little colder than what you normally like. The reason is, through research, we tend to keep alert in a colder temperature (Optimal temperature is 19 Celsius)

Free Yourself Of Distractions
Unless we all have a great discipline or will power, it is very hard for us to focus on our studies, so ensure that our study area is free from distractions such as Facebook :P

Don't Pig Out!
Do not eat a big meal before a study session. It often makes us feel sleepy or drowsy because a lot of energy and blood is directed to your digestive system. Food to avoid is red meat, sugar or white flour as these food types reduce our brain's ability to store information.

Bach For Background Music?
Play music in the background whenever we study. Music is rhythmic and listening to it has a synergistic effect which enhances brain power. Choose the best music is important too. Find those music which put us in a relax mode (alpha state) so that learning can take place.

These are the tips that I found useful for the final battle towards our final examination. Find it useful or simple? Yet it depends on you. But through so many researches, those are the best way to put our state to study effectively. I have use these few tips and it really helps me to study effectively. Do not forget to leave some feedback based on this post. Nevertheless, good luck to all for the final!

Once upon a time, I used to dream about being successful, wealthy and famous in which
owning a multi-million dollar businesses.
But guess what? I was never started to make a move, and instead of moving forward, I was moving backward instead.

Anyway, that had been a history. Now I have my own company (it wasn't easy to start a business), I started to attend seminars and workshops to improve my business, I started to create my own business plan and so on and so forth. Instead I involve in a lot more earning-money businesses. Guess what?

I started to live on my own, earning some extra pocket money instead of a monthly allowance given by my mom. So, how do I get started?

It was all the crazy ideas that came from my mind. So, why not you do the same?
Start to take action to go after your dreams/ goals.

A video that I would like to share :

Nevertheless, it was only a short post from me tonight, but more to come in future, and guess what? I'll be having another website that you can visit to know more about how I started with businesses and ways of how you can learn to start from a total zero to hero.
This blog would remain as a lifestyle blog but another would be another site of me. Please stay tuned !

Shall Men Be A Breadwinner And The Home-maker Too?

Last few days ago, I had a lunch together with a bunch of friends.
We had a good time discussing about our world current issues and what we didn't really seemed to miss out is "Shall men be a breadwinner and the house-maker at the same time?".

large_menhousework

Well, as for me, I totally have no idea in the first place but when it came to a second thought, I said, "why not?" I bet most of the modern women today work for the family and also in the same time work in the house too but why not men do the same?
Can't men do any better than women? That's not necessary true.

I have two awesome housemates, they both can cook, wash their dishes, clean the house, and anything you could name them, under house-chores' list. I bet they might be even better than some women in our age. They could possibly be a breadwinner and the home-maker for their family in the future.

Men, being a typical men are just too ego when talking about doing the house-chores or taking care of the house, but again, ask yourselves. Why not? Why not you? And why not men do it too?

Think about it, you might come with an interesting reasons to debate too.
Again, "Shall Men Be a Breadwinner and the Home-Maker at the same time?"

Any interesting reasons to debate on, come and comment below.

Death of Steve Jobs

Steve-Jobs-with-iphone

How many of you here are Apple users? I bet most of you are Apple users, even me myself,
I have iPod Shuffle and iPod Touch, I love musics and Apple's creation of iPods have made music lovers' life whole easier.
And again, of course for photos and videos editing, I use iMac. See, this is how Apple has changed our life entirely.
Nowadays, a lot of teenagers out there couldn't live without Apple stuff.

But, I am wondering people started to grieve and moan about Steve Jobs's death 3 days ago, how many actually know his history of success, of how he built his Apple company, of how he managed to make his business to be the peak businesses among all compare to other big companies such as Nokia, Microsoft and so on and so forth.

Let me tell you this, I was fond and still impressed of Steve Jobs's keynotes and presentations all the time. His presentations was amazingly magnificent. Again, I may not to say we only have to enjoy the luxurious and elegance of Apple productions but let us take some time to read or to know about his history of hard work, life and success.
Indeed, you will feel the loss of Steve Jobs is ever immense.

Steve-Jobs-Death-Quote

A little history of Steve Jobs.

"Steven Paul Jobs, the co-founder and chairman of Apple, died Wednesday at the age of 56.
Born in San Francisco in 1955, Jobs grew up near Cupertino, Calif. After attending Reed College in Portland for one semester (and auditing classes for free for several more), Jobs took a job at Atari, designing circuit boards. In 1976, Jobs co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak.

The two young men started out with a few thousand dollars in cash and a vision of changing the world. Over the course of the past 35 years, the company and Jobs have gone on to change the world, the personal computing industry, the music and film industries and the mobile industry as we know.

Apple released its first mass-market product, the Apple II in 1976. The Apple II helped ignite what would become known as “the personal computer revolution” and thrust the charismatic Jobs into the spotlight. By the time IBM released its first PC in 1981 and Commodore released the Commodore 64 in 1982, Apple was already hard at work on the product that would cement Apple’s place in computing history, the Macintosh.

Brazenly introduced to the world in 1984 via a Super Bowl ad directed by Ridley Scott, the Macintosh helped set the standard for personal computing paradigms for the next decade." - Source

Why I still can cope up with so many things in life? Its Time Management !

Stress cartoono
Two days ago, in one occasion one of my friends asked me quite absurd questions.
Friend: Felix, are you sure you are an architecture student?
Me: mmhhhmmm.. Why then?
Friend: But I assume all architecture students should be busy with hell loads of works, assignments and projects to do. But I wonder why, you seem freakin’ free!
Me: Why do you say so? What made you think that I am free?
Friend: If you are an architecture student, then you weren’t suppose to be here, you wouldn’t be free attending this dinner, taking photos and having your own business while you’re still an undergraduate.
Oh well, here it is, the answer would be the time management. I always tell people this, time management is important, and let's see how I deal with stuff, to manage my time between social life, business and education.
There are 3 rules that I always practice.

  1. Don't ever create any impossibles circumstances.
  2. Define priorities.
  3. Avoid distractions and FOCUS!
I will never trap myself into doing too much things. Don't try to work full time and take a full load."Use time to create success, not failure."
I will only attend events or any occasions which I think is important, if it's not, I would rather spend my times doing some other more important things such as my assignments.

Define priorities! Yes, you gotta find your priorities. You can't just go with the flow. My way is I will jot down or write down stuff to do or we called that as 'Thing to do' list. Is that useful?
It may sound simple but yet the impact is so powerful if you know what you have there to complete and to do. I always do stuff according to my list and guess what? I always finish my assignments or other stuff in time or earlier.

Well, the last one is trying to avoid distractions and FOCUS! As a blogger, photographer and a businessman and a student as well, I'm always full packed with events, occasions, classes, lectures, meetings and so much more! But as I told you in the first point, don't create impossibles situations, don't get yourself to do too much things at one time. And this is where the second point plays its role. Get yourself a 'Things to do' list so that you know which stuff or things you have to do and complete or which events that is important that you might have to attend. While you are doing your important things according to your list, make sure you FOCUS! A lot of people out there tellin' me, why everytime they couldn't finish their work even they list down everything they have to do, and it drag them so long just to finish one single drawing. Then I further asked, what were you doing while you're doing your work? They said, as usual, Facebook's right beside. Can tell that? They obviously do not focus in doing their work.

Is this simple and short post useful to you? This post isn't something I searched in the internet or copy paste from any time management book, but this is based on my own experience whereby I can still earning money, socialize and get a good result. Any queries?
Don't be shy to just email me : ferdinandfelix93@gmail.com
